Contingency Manual – Maersk Contractors

The goal is to achieve the optimum coordination between the requirements of Maersk Contractors and the Operator with respect to precautionary contingency preparedness.
To provide the information required for the:

1. OIM to establish the command structure and procedures that are effective to ensure that:
   • Life is safeguarded in emergency situations. Ultimately that the crew can be safely evacuated and brought to a point of rescue
   • Effective plans and procedures for responding to credible emergencies are in place
   • Drills and exercises required to maintain crew awareness and skills are planned and held
   • Assistance can be requested and notification made.
2. Crew to perform emergency response tasks in an effective manner.
