MODU Organizational Manual – Maersk Contractors

The objective of this manual is to provide specific information to the personnel working on board the MODU on the;

1. Organization and command structure
2. Scope of work (Function Description) for each section of the organization
3. For each position;
   • Report line
   • Responsibility & Authority
   • Requisitioning authority
   • General Description of Key Areas
   • Safety & Environment
   • Documenting, record keeping and archiving responsibilities
   • Basic qualification

Efforts have been made to allocate specific safety responsibilities to individuals.

Whereas the distribution of authority and basic responsibilities will always stand, individuals must be flexible and support and assist each other to accomplish tasks.

The manual shall be updated whenever necessary due to changes in legislation and other regulation, new knowledge, and new international standards.
