MODU Procedures Manual – Maersk Contractors

The objective of this manual is to ensure that procedures detailing MC’s generic requirements are available to the offshore staff involved with the offshore operations of the MOU.
This manual is applicable to the operations carried out in the standard operating modes under normal operating conditions.

This manual will serve as a reference for onshore staff involved with the planning, conduct and verification of the offshore operation.
Unit Specific Information Users of this manual must consult the ‘Unit Specific Procedures Manual’ to find out if any supplemental requirements are in force.

Unit specific supplements are identified by using the procedure (item) number as entry argument in the ‘Unit Specific Procedures Manual’.
Supplemental requirements include descriptions that translates the generic requirements of a procedure in this manual into specific requirements pertaining to:

• A particular contract
• Operating area
• Location

And reflecting unit specific:

• Equipment
• Arrangements
• Technical systems
