Safety Case – Maersk Contractors

This Design Safety Case has been developed as the basis for the Vessel Specific Safety Case required by the UK Health and Safety Executive under the Offshore Installations (Safety Case) Regulations, 1992.

This document also serves to demonstrate compliance with the Norwegian Petroleum and Norwegian Maritime Directorates Rules and Regulations and the Danish Energy Agency Rules.

The document comprises ten sections covering an introduction, risk acceptance criteria, description of MODU, management system, hazard and risk assessment, occupational hazards, environmental hazards, a remedial action plan, verification elements.
