Route Survey

• Road surface condition satisfactory

• No steep gradients which may cause problem

• Road width & tight corners OK for load

• Height of overhead power lines sufficient

• No road-side obstructions, e.g., poles, signs, rocks, etc.

• No road or maintenance works ongoing

Equipment

• Equipment general condition

• Tyres / lights

• Load is secure

• Emergency equipment available, e.g., reflective triangles

Location

• Correct location

• Clean and free from oil/ construction waste

• Location is levelled and compacted

• Earth pit available and reading OK

• Cellar condition / clean

Operational

• Norm readings OK

• Gas test reading

• No pressure in X-Mas Tree

• Beam pump operational

• Beam pump brake tested OK
