NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
The NEBOSH International Diploma is the leading qualification for international health and safety practitioners. Assessment
You actually have 5 years from the date of your enrollment with NEBOSH to complete the whole qualification, however you should aim to complete your studies within twenty four months of enrolling for the course. During this 2 year-period you are entitled to unlimited advice and support via phone, email or fax.
When you are ready to take the exams, simply let your course provider know and they will register you with NEBOSH. You may take the exams at any of Traingin Provider’s training centre registered to conduct examinations or at a British Council near you. The British Council charges an administration fee to invigilate the exams, so you will need to pay this fee directly to the British Council.
The examination for both versions of the syllabus consists of three 3-hour written examinations (one each for Units IA, IB & IC) and an 8,000 word work based project. You must pass all four to be awarded the NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
Re-Asssessment
In case you did not do well in your exams in one or more unit/s, you can re-sit the unit/s which you failed on the next available exam sitting. Charges apply.

Important notice: Once delegates are registered with NEBOSH there is no other way to cancel or change the registration. In case a delegate failed to sit on the examination unit/s he was registered, he will be marked absent by NEBOSH and he will be considered as a re-sit candidate the next time he is ready to sit the examination. This means that this delegate will need to re-register with NEBOSH and that involves re-sit or re-registration fee per unit of Dhs 945 per unit.
