Laboratory Safety & the Lab Standard

Laboratories concentrate hundreds of chemicals into small rooms where procedures change daily. This course explains OSHA's Laboratory Standard, the Chemical Hygiene Plan, fume hoods and other engineering controls, lab PPE and glove selection, and the specific hazards — peroxide formers, cryogens, incompatible storage, pressurized glassware — that injure lab workers.
