Environmental Manager – Italy

We’re looking for an Environmental Manager to be involved in O&G project.

Key Requirements

Profile shall have formal enviromental/engineering education, appropriate certifications and minimum 10 years’ experience in the O&G / Construction Industry

Job Description

Contribute to define the Discipline list of activities, list of deliverables and time schedule in accordance with project
requirements
Identify the env ironmental design requirements and procedures applicable to the Project and assure their implementation
into the Project
Assure the technical coordination of the environmental discipline
Assure the follow-up activities to moni tor the resolution of identified environmental issues in the course of the design
development
Attend internal review activities and inter-discipline check meetings
Provide technical support to Project group
Ensure protection of the Sensitive areas
Ensure the development of spill contingency plan and monitor implementation
Ensure the development of Waste/Chemical/Water Management Plan, obtain relevant permits from authorities and monitor
implementation
Ensure compliance with noise regulations requirements
Ensure and monitor protection of air quality within the project activities
Establish an environmental monitoring and audit program applicable to all phases of the operations
Find out Archaeological significant areas by conducting surface survey and sampling of visible sites for litchis or ceramic
scatters, rock arts or building remains
Develop Occupational Safety Risk Assessment
Take part in environmental accident / incident investigation
