- Road surface condition satisfactory
- No steep gradients which may cause problem
- Road width & tight corners OK for load
- Height of overhead power lines sufficient
- No road-side obstructions, e.g. poles, signs, rocks, etc.
- No road or maintenance works ongoing
Equipment
- Equipment general condition
- Tyres / lights
- Load is secure
- Emergency equipment available, e.g. reflective triangles
Location
- Correct location
- Clean and free from oil/ construction waste
- Location is levelled and compacted
- Earth pit available and reading OK
- Cellar condition / clean
- Sewage pit available and emptied
