HSE Auditor
Responsibilities
- Lead audit teams in the performance of HSE management system and compliance audits
- Provide support to the Corporate HSE Audit Manager in the development and execution of HSE audit plans
- Maintain a working knowledge and general understanding of HSE regulations and requirements for the jurisdictions within which the company operates
- Compile and maintaine audit records
Report audit results to corporate Auditing /Action Tracking Software
- Contribute to and support corporate HSE compliance efforts
- Interact with personnel throughout the Company conveying the department’s guiding principles of integrity, objectivity, innovation, excellence, and teamwork
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications
Degree in a technical discipline strongly desired
Industry experience in an auditing/compliance assessment role
- Professional auditor (BEAC, ISO, etc.) and/or HSE (ASP, CSP, NEBOSH) certification strongly desired
- Demonstrated ability to conduct audits using established audit principles to evaluate compliance with prescribed standards
- Documented formal training in auditing principles from an industry recognized training provider
Valid Certificates
Working knowledge of various worldwide regulatory regimes and requirements.
Working knowledge of industry relevant international codes and standards.
- Proficient in management systems and compliance auditing principles as outlined in ISO 19011
Knowledge of different types of reelvant industry equipment and their classifications
Soft Skills
- Excellent formal reporting and technical writing skills
- Proficiency in the development of audit tools (protocols and checklists, etc.)
Computer Literacy
- Microsoft Office
- SAP, complimentary.
- Action Tracking Software
- Audit Planning & Implementation Tools
