It is with deep regret and great sadness that we inform you of a work-related fatality that occurred today 22 November) in the Al Bahja area The deceased was a 28-year-old Omani working as Roustabout for Al Baraka Oil Field Services at Hazar field.
The incident occurred during the annual maintenance activity of Hoist 78 when the emergency escape system supporting frame, which is part of the monkey board that was on the ground at the time, struck the deceased resulting in a fatal injury.
