Responsibilities
Manages, maintains and delivers HSE Training Programs, courses and content.
Develops content and delivers HSE training using standard instructional technique.
Maintains training policies and procedures for regulatory, company and client requirements.
Point of contact for training obligations and requirements. Primary coordinator, scheduler and liaison with client’s training organization.
Communicates training obligations and related commitments to management.
Participates in Company and client training audits.
Reports on training compliance, maintains databases and documentation to meet regulatory, company and client requirements.
Maintains HSE resources for safety meetings and training.
Works with Line Management to identify and address training needs.
Schedules and delivers training to support HSE and Operational functions.
Interprets training obligations for impact on Company and Clients.
Update electronic media HSE employee information sharing sites (electronic monitor billboards and/or hard billboards)
Ensure annual certifications are tracked and kept current for employees.
Conduct/Instruct actual Safety Training classes and instruction (as qualified to do so).
Monthly updates and reporting on the overall Training Program progress/accomplishments, status, employee recognition, program needs, etc.
Maintain a summary level Master Training Schedule for the site, with detailed focus on upcoming month and quarter (classes being offered, etc)
Promote, encourage and recruit craft employees into the program.
Identify the resources required for the site training program’s needs ($ and manpower); help determine training budget costs forecasts/needs.
Coordinate with corporate Workforce Development group as required. (reporting, audit, support, etc.)
Qualifications
Participates in professional organizations.
Relevant industry trainings.
Knowledge of ANSI, ASTM, CGA, and ASME, consensus standards.
Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 & 1926 requirements.
Applied instructional techniques and effective training and communication methods.
