As HSE Manager, you will lead strategies and initiatives that safeguard employees, enhance sustainability, and support both daily operations and future growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the factory's HSE strategy in alignment with Vestas' global standards and local regulations
- Monitor safety performance through audits, inspections, and incident investigations to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure legal compliance across health, safety, and environmental areas, including reporting and documentation
- Facilitate risk assessments and preventive actions in collaboration with key operational teams
- Implement environmental initiatives such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainability programs
- Deliver HSE training and awareness activities to ensure employee understanding and engagement
- Act as the primary contact for authorities and external stakeholders on HSE matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related fields
- Several years of experience in HSE management within manufacturing, industrial, or energy sectors
- Comprehensive knowledge of Danish and EU HSE regulations and reporting requirements
- Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
- Familiarity with environmental management systems and sustainability initiatives
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all organizational levels
- Fluency in English; Danish proficiency is a plus
