Key objectives and responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations, company policies, and client (including ADNOC) requirements at site level.
Develop and implement site-specific HSE plans, procedures, and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
Monitor daily site activities to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and ensure prompt corrective actions.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks/safety meetings to reinforce HSE standards and awareness.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports with preventive recommendations.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate HSE requirements into all site operations.
Provide training, inductions, and continuous HSE awareness programs for site personnel, verifying that all workers receive appropriate HSE training before work.
Ensure implementation and readiness of emergency response plans for potential site emergencies.
Monitor compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, incidents, and HSE performance metrics for reporting and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and profile
Bachelor’s degree in safety, health, environmental, technical, scientific, or related engineering discipline (or equivalent).
Minimum 5+ years relevant HSE experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industry, with at least 2 years (preferred) in GCC region.
Experience preparing Health, Safety, Environmental Impact (HSEIA) reports and fully conversant with QRA (Quantitative Risk Assessment) development.
PMC ADNOC experience is mandatory, indicating prior work on ADNOC PMC projects.
Strong HSE technical knowledge plus communication, coordination, and reporting skills to work across multidisciplinary project teams.
