Position: PSMS HSE Representative

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented PSMS HSE Representative to champion health, safety, and environmental standards across our operations. In this vital role, you will serve as a key advocate for occupational health and safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and fostering a culture of safety excellence. Your expertise will help prevent incidents, promote safe work practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs aligned with industry standards and legal requirements
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety issues proactively
• Lead incident investigations by performing root cause analysis to determine underlying factors and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, workers' compensation law, and other applicable regulations
• Deliver engaging training sessions on first aid, CPR, OSHA standards, occupational health best practices, and environmental protocols
• Maintain accurate report writing for incidents, inspections, audits, and safety performance metrics
• Coordinate emergency response procedures and ensure readiness through regular drills and updates
• Serve as a liaison with local emergency responders and regulatory agencies during incidents or inspections
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing safety data trends and recommending targeted interventions
Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years of HSE experience (mandatory)
• 5+ years of upstream and production and maintenance work experience
• Authorized to work in the US
• Some College education minimum
• Monday-Friday job with some weekends
Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, workers' compensation law, and occupational health principles
• Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on EHS practices
• Excellent report writing skills with the ability to document incidents accurately and clearly
• Skilled in root cause analysis techniques to identify fundamental issues behind safety incidents
• Effective training & development capabilities to educate staff on safety procedures
• Ability to perform comprehensive risk assessments and hazard identification tasks confidently
• Familiarity with report writing tools, inspection checklists, and surveillance systems for safety monitoring
• Strong communication skills for engaging diverse teams at all levels of the organization
• Certification in first aid, CPR, OSHA compliance training or related fields highly desirable
