HSEQ – The process by which certification bodies have their processes assessed to see if they meet the Regulatory Authority’s (or Accreditation Body’s) standards (in the UK, this is the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS)). So, an individual organization gets certification to a standard like ISO 45001; the certifying body that awards that standard (e.g. LRQA) can do so because it has accreditation from UKAS.
