Gather relevant documentation and records:

- HSE training records
- HSE inspection and audit records
- Incident and accident reports
- Risk assessments
- Emergency response plans
- HSE program budget and resources
- Identify areas of improvement
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members:
- Designate a lead coordinator for the audit
- Assign roles and responsibilities for preparing, organizing, and presenting information to the auditor
- Ensure that all team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities

- Ensure all team members are informed and trained on the latest HSE practices
- Plan for open and transparent communication with the auditor
- Review the audit schedule and confirm availability of key personnel
- Prepare a briefing document for the auditor, including key information about the company’s HSE performance and initiatives.
Arrange snacks, transportation and accommodations:
- Provide snacks and refreshments for the auditor
- Arrange transportation for the auditor, if necessary
- Make arrangements for the auditor’s accommodation, if required.
