What are the qualifications of an HSE Engineer?

HSE Engineer is the professional who is qualified to carry out Engineering proposals and review existing designs and injecting Health, Safety & Environment related issues.
He should be competent in implementing HAZID and HAZOP studies.
Usually he is having Engineering educational background.
Typically HSE Engineer is responsible of:
- HAZID
- HAZOP
- QRA analysis
- Consequence modeling
- SIL/IPF study
- Plant layout
- Design review
- Passive & Active fire protection
- HSE Case
- Bow-tie analysis
- Performance Standard development
- Dispersion modeling
- EER Study
- etc.
